Becky Short, BSN, RN Becky Short works as an infusion nurse with a neurologist. She obtained an ADN from a community college in Boone, NC. She graduated with a BSN from SONAT in 2003 and has been a member of GNA since 2004. She served as vice chair in 2004. Becky’s passion for nursing is centered around helping students and new nurses get started with their professional nursing careers, with special focus in ER nursing. She is also very interested in getting GNA involved in more local community service. Her ultimate goal is to become a family nurse practitioner.

Natalie Gavalas, RN Natalie is a staff and charge nurse on the Nephrology Unit at Athens Regional Medical Center. She heads the unit's Scheduling and Staffing Team. She has been a DAISY Award nominee, and has received numerous nominations from patients for her nursing excellence. Natalie has a non-nursing bachelor's degree in communications.

Annelle Beall, MSN, RN, CNN, NE-BC Annelle is director of Nephrology, Hemodialysis, Vascular Access, Surgical Urology/Gynecology, and Palliative Care at Athens Regional Medical Center. She has been a GNA member since 1996, and has served locally as director and secretary of District 11. She also served as a GANS chapter officer at Athens Tech in 1995. She has a master of nursing degree in leadership and management from Walden University, a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Western Carolina University, and her ADN from Athens Tech.
